Biohazard and Chemical Waste Disposal at F2
LCAM runs an F2 Supply Centre that provides centralised biohazard and chemical waste disposal service for entities located at F2. They are IME, IMRE, SIMTECH and ISCE2.

Requestor is required to fill in the waste description (content of the waste) along with estimated volume or mass in the corresponding columns.
Please do not use formulas or abbreviations when describing chemicals.
Example: Use "Acetone" instead of "(CH3)2CO" and use "Tributyltin" instead of "TBT".

Requestor must provide more detail than just “Solid Waste”, "Chemically Contaminated Water", "Heavy Metal" or similar. The contaminates must also be listed under the constituents.
Example: "Filter paper, paper towels, gloves, kimwipes, pastuer pipettes contaminated with Lead(II) nitrate" instead of “Solid Waste".

Container Requirements:
• Container must be compatible with contents.
• Never overfill container. Waste container must not be more than 75%.
• Containers must be closed with the lid firmly secured.
• Keep outside of the container clean, including the bottom.
• Sharps (needles and syringe) must be placed in a rigid, puncture resistant, closable, and leak-proof Sharps container. If using a biohazardous sharps container for collection of chemical sharps, be sure to mark out the biohazardous label.
